Private Label and Own-Brand Ottoman Bed Base Supply

If you sell under your own name, the frame doesn't have to arrive carrying anyone else's. Here's what private label supply actually covers.

Most of the range is available exactly as specified on the six size pages. Private label supply is different — it’s a made-to-order option built around how you sell the frame, not just its dimensions.

What private label covers on a bed base — and what it doesn’t

Private label packaging is one of four made-to-order options we supply alongside the standard range, sitting next to frames without mechanisms, alternative gas spring ratings and modified dimensions. It applies to how the frame is packaged and labelled for onward sale, not to the frame’s construction — the steel profile, gas springs and slats stay the same as the standard specification for that size, built to your own-brand packaging rather than ours.

Packaging, labelling and the documents that carry your name

The specifics of packaging and labelling for a private label order are agreed per project, since requirements vary by retailer — what goes on the carton, what’s included in the fitting instructions, and how the paperwork accompanying the pallet is presented. This is worth raising at the enquiry stage alongside your sizes and quantities, so it’s costed into the same quotation rather than added afterwards.

Frames without mechanisms: supplying your own hardware

If you already have a lifting mechanism supply chain and only need the frame itself, frames without mechanisms are available as a separate made-to-order option. This is a common request from retailers and bed makers who source hardware separately or who are building a range around their own mechanism specification — see our guide for upholsterers and bed makers for more on ordering a frame on its own.

Modified dimensions as part of an own-brand range

An own-brand range doesn’t have to be limited to our six standard sizes. Modified lengths and widths are available made-to-order, on top of the standard alternative lengths (1800, 1900, 2100 and 2200 mm) already offered across the range. Tell us the finished dimensions you need and we’ll confirm what’s possible and how it’s priced.

Volumes, lead times and how a private label order is quoted

A private label order still starts from a pallet of 30 frames, the same as a standard order, and follows the same production timeline — 3–4 weeks in production once payment clears, plus roughly a week in transit. What changes is that packaging, labelling and any dimensional changes are quoted per project rather than taken from the standard price list. Send your specification — sizes, quantities, and what private label treatment you need — and it comes back as one quotation within 24 hours on a working day.
