King is our highest-volume size after Double — a two-part frame, each side carrying its own 1000N gas spring and a 20-slat set, 40 slats in total.
At 1507 × 2002 mm this is the genuine UK King, not the shorter continental equivalent sold under the same name in some catalogues. If a customer’s mattress is heavier than standard — a dense pocket-sprung King runs 30 kg or more — tell us the mattress weight when you order and we’ll confirm the spring rating is right for it.
Steel frame and mechanism arrive assembled. Slats, fixings and fitting instructions are boxed separately inside the same pallet.
Frames plus freight
The frame price is fixed. Freight depends on how many pallets you take and where they go, so it is shown as a range here and confirmed exactly with your quotation.
| Shipment | Frames | Freight, EUR | Freight, GBP | Per frame |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 pallet | 30 | €650.00–€800.00 | £572.00–£704.00 | £100.91–£105.31 |
| 2 pallets | 60 | €1,150.00–€1,400.00 | £1,012.00–£1,232.00 | £98.71–£102.37 |
| 3 pallets | 90 | €1,450.00–€1,700.00 | £1,276.00–£1,496.00 | £96.02–£98.46 |
| 4+ pallets | 120+ | On request | ||
Mixing sizes lowers the freight cost per frame, because the rate follows the total number of pallets rather than the size. Ask for a mixed load in your enquiry.
Freight estimates cover England and Wales mainland and include Polish export clearance, UK import clearance and delivery booking-in. The exact figure depends on quantity and delivery postcode and is confirmed with your quotation. Scotland, Northern Ireland, the islands and central London are priced separately. Prices exclude VAT. Invoiced in EUR; GBP is for guidance only, converted at €1 = £0.88and reviewed quarterly (last reviewed 2026-08-26).
You will need a forklift or a loading dock
A pallet measures 210 × 120 × 150 cm and weighs 800–1,000 kg, which is beyond what a tail-lift can handle. Kerbside delivery is not possible, so tell us before dispatch how the vehicle will be unloaded.
Before you order
What is the minimum order?
One pallet, which holds 30 frames of a single size. You can mix sizes across pallets, and the freight rate follows the total pallet count.
Do I pay UK import duty?
No. Bed bases fall under commodity code 9403 20 at 0% duty, supported by a statement of origin on our invoice. You act as importer of record and account for import VAT, normally through postponed VAT accounting.
Can you make the frame a different length?
Yes. We build 1800, 1900, 2100 and 2200 mm as a modification, which carries a surcharge. Tell us the finished mattress size and we will confirm the frame dimensions.
How long does an order take?
Three to four weeks in production from the confirmed order, plus roughly a week in transit. Production starts once prepayment clears.
Can I order a sample first?
Single frames ship by parcel carrier at a higher unit cost. Most buyers take one pallet as a first order instead, since the freight per frame is far lower.
